Chelsea reprieve! Transfer ban put on hold as Blues prepare to spend in January

Chelsea's transfer ban has been temporarily lifted. FIFA had imposed a block on the Blues bringing in new players until January 2011 over the signing of Gael Kakuta in 2007.

But the Court of Arbitration for Sport has granted Chelsea's request to suspend their the ban until there is a final decision on their appeal.
